A good prompt describes a scene, not a wish

"A professional photo of my product" is a description with no decisions in it: where is the product? What color is the background? From which angle? Under what light? Every element you don't define, the model will decide at random, which is why results vary between one attempt and the next. Write as if you were directing a photographer standing in front of the product who can't see you.

The six elements

  • Subject: the product precisely — its type, color, material, and any detail that must stay visible.
  • Background: clean white, marble, dark wood, sand, or a specific interior scene.
  • Lighting: soft diffused light, hard side light, natural window light, or studio lighting with a light shadow.
  • Angle and framing: front-on, three-quarter, from above, close-up or medium shot.
  • Mood: calm and luxurious, vibrant and colorful, warm and natural.
  • Size: square for the store, vertical for ads and stories.

Ready-made examples

  • Perfume: "The perfume bottle centered on a light marble surface, gradient beige background, soft side lighting with a slight reflection on the glass, front shot, calm luxurious mood, square size."
  • Cosmetics: "The container standing on a white surface with a soft shadow, clean white background, diffused studio lighting, three-quarter angle, square size."
  • Clothing item: "The piece on a mannequin in a studio with a gray background, balanced front lighting, full front shot, simple modern mood, vertical 4:5 size."
  • Food product: "The package on a dark wooden table with natural ingredients around it, side window light, close-up shot from a 45-degree angle, square size."

Mistakes that ruin the result

  • Contradictory requests in the same prompt: "clean white background" and "desert scene at sunset."
  • Relying on the model to write text or a logo inside the image; add text later with a design tool.
  • Describing feelings instead of visual elements: "an image that sells" means nothing to the model.
  • A bad reference photo: an excellent prompt can't fix a shaky or dark photo.
  • Changing five elements at once, so you don't know which one improved the result.

Improve one step at a time

Start with a simple prompt, then adjust only one element each time: lighting first, then background, then angle. Keep the prompts that gave the best result in a single file and reuse them as templates for all your products — this is what gives your catalog a unified look.

Frequently asked questions

Should I write the prompt in Arabic or English?

A clear Arabic description is enough in most cases. What matters isn't the language but the precision of the elements: subject, background, lighting, angle, and size.

Why does the result change even though I use the same prompt?

Generation is a probabilistic process, so each attempt gives slight variation. Lock the reference image and keep successful prompts as templates to reduce variance.

How long should the prompt be?

Medium length is best. A very short prompt leaves the decision to the model, and a very long one contradicts itself. State six core elements and cut everything else.

How do I get the same style for all my products?

Write one prompt and only swap the product name in it, while keeping the background, lighting, and angle fixed. This is how your catalog stays consistent.
